Operations improvement

Too many decisions still come back to you.

Fix the handovers, unclear responsibilities and recurring work that keep pulling leadership into the day-to-day.

Discuss this project

Available support

  • A working process with clear owners and decision responsibilities.
  • Usable handovers, checklists or tooling for the people doing the work.
  • Agreed checks for waiting time, errors or repeated escalations.
Responsibilities & scope limits

Veylund: Veylund follows the work, designs the changes with the team and supports their introduction and review.

Your company: Your sponsor agrees decision rights. The people doing the work help test the changes and take ongoing ownership.

Accounting, employment advice, compliance assurance and replacement of core business systems are not implicitly included.

Process & completion
  1. Follow one process end to end

Look at real examples of the work. Identify repeated questions, waiting, rework and handovers where information gets lost.

  2. Make ownership usable

Agree who decides and what a complete handover includes. Introduce only the documentation, reporting or tooling the workflow needs.

  3. Try it with the team

Observe real cycles, check exceptions and adjust the process. Leave an owner who can operate it without relying on the consultant.

Completion: The process owner can run the workflow and handle its documented exceptions. The team has tried it through the agreed working cycles.

Example engagement

Illustrative situation, not a client case study.

Starting point: Every new customer onboarding needs the founder to reconstruct the status and chase three different people.

Agreed work: Agree one handover, clear ownership and a shared status view, then test it with the people onboarding the next customers.

Internal workflow demonstration

Business operations workflow platform

Fieldwork illustrates structured records and actionable handovers. Its fictional showcase is an example of the approach, not evidence of company-wide savings.
