Responsibilities & scope limits
Veylund: Veylund leads within the agreed authority, joins the relevant working rhythm and raises decisions that need executive approval.
Your company: Your sponsor establishes the mandate, available people and resources, and escalation boundaries. Leadership capacity is reserved in the agreement.
Advisory credit does not reserve leadership capacity. A formal company-director appointment needs a separate agreement on responsibilities and risk.
Process & completion
Define the role before starting
Agree objectives, people, authority and reserved time. Distinguish regular part-time leadership from higher-involvement interim cover.
Take responsibility within the team
Work in existing tools and meetings. Manage priorities, dependencies and reporting; make resource or funding constraints explicit.
Review and transfer ownership
Review the remit at agreed intervals. Keep decisions and context documented so the incoming leader or team can continue the work.
Completion: Progress is reviewed against the remit and agreed objectives. The engagement ends with responsibilities and open decisions transferred to named owners.
