Product & delivery recovery
Development is costing more. Delivery is still slipping.
Find what is blocking delivery and help your team put a credible recovery plan into practice.

- Findings backed by the work, commitments and people involved.
- A revised set of priorities, owners and realistic next milestones.
- An agreed recovery phase, with progress checks and handover responsibilities.
Responsibilities & scope limits
Veylund: Veylund reviews the evidence, recommends a route and can coordinate the agreed recovery work with your team.
Your company: Your sponsor provides access, brings the relevant team or supplier into the review and authorises changes to priorities and responsibilities.
Changing supplier is not the default answer. Detailed code, security and legal audits need a separately agreed specialist scope.
Process & completion
Establish what is actually happening
Compare commitments with delivered work. Review costs, backlog, dependencies and unresolved decisions with the people doing the work.
Choose what should change
Compare changes to scope, ownership, working practices or the supplier arrangement. Keeping the current supplier may be the right recommendation.
Support and check the recovery
Assign the agreed changes, work through delivery cycles and review progress with the sponsor. Name owners for remaining risks and handovers.
Completion: The review answers the decision you came with. A recovery phase is assessed against agreed delivery checks, not simply a new plan.
Example engagement
Illustrative situation, not a client case study.
Starting point: Milestones keep moving, reported progress is hard to verify and leadership is considering replacing the supplier.
Agreed work: Establish what has been delivered, compare the options and agree a recovery phase before committing to a transfer.
